“Tickets please!”

During a trip to Service Management Expo in London last week, my colleague and I were travelling on the DLR when we were approached by a ticket inspector. He was using a smart device to check for valid tickets and Oyster cards.

“Tickets please!”

The software used on the ticket inspector’s device was in fact our very own. TfL have been a longstanding customer of Cognito’s for over 15 years now, and the effectiveness of the Cognito solution can be seen across the whole of the TfL network.

With around 24 million journeys made every day, being able to deal with issues such as fare evasion effectively and efficiently is a top priority - and having experienced it first hand, I can safely say it’s working extremely well!
