At Cognito iQ we are running around 50 Elastic Load Balancers (ELBs) per customer environment. On an average day, they will cost us around $34 each, these costs soon mount up, especially as we are now about to launch our 15th environment in the cloud. From this, we could see a massive cost inefficiency with the use of ELBs and so we identified it as an area where we could potentially save a decent amount of money. But what to do…..
