Computacenter select Cognito iQ Mobile & OPM for pan-European implementation

Computacenter is Europe’s leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services. With over 13,000 employees in countries all over the world, they have key locations in Germany, France, Belgium and the UK. Computacenter advise on IT strategy, recommend and implement the most appropriate technology, assist businesses to drive performance and manage their customers’ infrastructures and platforms.

With over 3000 permanent engineers & technicians providing user support and services on large corporate and government customers throughout Europe, their mobile workforce is significant.

Computacenter visited Cognito iQ at Service Management Expo 2015, in search of the latest in mobile workforce management solutions. They were working on a Business Transformation Project across their organisation which would look at Process, Technology and People. Technology, as we’ve seen with so many other customers, is the crucial enabler to success.

With a clear view of their business requirements and a requirement to introduce a mobility solution for their engineers and technicians, they also wanted to maintain integration to their SAP and BMC Service Management platforms.

Against the competition, the Cognito iQ mobile solution provided the most comprehensive functionality and reliability, along with Cognito iQ as an organisation being the right cultural fit for a long term relationship. In addition, after a detailed assessment of the mobile solution and the differentiating mobile workforce analytics product (Operational Performance Management), the Computacenter team quickly realised how much value they could derive from a total Cognito iQ solution.

In their words ‘Cognito iQ OPM is a game changer’.

The power of the Cognito iQ analytics will give Computacenter the ability to adopt a process of continual service improvement, drive productivity and customer satisfaction as well as differentiate themselves from the competition.

The project will roll-out in phases across Germany, France and the UK from July 2016.
