We’re proud to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the prestigious Real IT awards, together with our customer, UK boiler manufacturer Baxi Heating, in the category ‘Turning Data into Insight’. We’re up against fierce competition – the other shortlisted entries are from BP, Mitie and Tui – but we have a strong story about how we’ve used Cognito iQ OPA to analyse field service data and recommend improvements that have increased Baxi’s customer loyalty and driven up contract sales.
The Real IT awards, known as the RITAs, have been going since 2004 and are amongst the most credible and challenging awards in the industry. Produced by the CITF (Collaboration Innovation Technology Forum), the awards are renowned for their independent judging panel, and for the high calibre of the entries. The RITA’s charity partner is the NSPCC, so the awards also help some of the most vulnerable children in our society.
Last year’s event was attended by more than 400 IT professionals from heavyweight organisations such as PepsiCo, IBM and the Met Office. This year, whilst the ceremony itself may be delayed due to Covid-19, the competition is thriving; there have been 200 submissions in total from 75 companies across 25 different industries.
We’re excited to be in such stellar company and pleased to be sharing some good news in these difficult times.
